Solo Sikoa, Brock Lesnar betrays Cody Rhodes and brutally beats him.
WWE Raw Results: When The Bloodline were being praised by the fans, Cody Rhodes
challenged Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman in the ring. Heyman turned down
Rhodes’ request for a rematch versus Reigns. The American Nightmare persisted in his
demands, claiming that The Tribal Chief and him were to be the subject of a spectacle for
the audience. Then Rhodes pushed for a tag team contest. Roman Reigns and Heyman
spoke about the proposition before the match was agreed to.Reigns and Sikoa would be up
against Rhodes and Brock Lesnar in a tag team contest. The Beast Incarnate afterwards
betrayed Cody Rhodes by using an F5 to slam him in the ring as the match began. Leaving
the ring was The Bloodline. Rhodes was then subjected to a ruthless and violent beating by
Lesnar. Rhodes was hit by Lesnar with suplexes, F5s, and the ring stairs. Rhodes was
knocked to the ground on the announcer’s table, and he was afterwards destroyed with steel
chairs. When WWE officials hurried to check on the American Nightmare, who had just
endured one of the worst “nightmares” of his career, Lesnar departed the arena after
knocking Rhodes black and blue.
The Nigerian Giant Omos defeated Elias in a head-to-head match.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn made their debut after winning the tag team championship.
They faced off against Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins of Street Profits in a tag team
contest. Ford and Dawkins were defeated by Owens-Zayn.
In a crucial bout, Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest interfered in Austin Theory’s
head-to-head victory over Rey Mysterio.
In the arena today was Bad Bunny, who had supported Rey during his match against
Dominik at WrestleMania 39. Following Rey’s defeat to Theory today, Damian Priest
defeated Bad Bunny.
