“BJP and Congress have been playing friendly politics, so called Gujarat Model is a big failure Claims AAP leader

Describing the so called Gujarat Model as a big failure, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia hit out state BJP government and accused that even after 25 years of rule by BJP in the state, there is no proper infrastructure of health and education for the people. He claimed that in just five years AAP government led by Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi had successfully established world class Mohallah clinics and primary education set up and people from India and even from abroad come to see and they appreciate the government.
Addressing a crowded press conference on saturday, he said that congress is almost finished. it has lost credibility among the voters. Now AAP has the mettle to dislodge the BJP. it is “only the Aam Aadmi Party that has the substance to defeat the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in Gujarat.”
In Gujarat, we don’t see ourselves as a third alternative to BJP and Congress in Gujarat as we see both of them as one. People know that Congress has lost all credibility in Gujarat and they have no might over here. Has the congress held any Andolan against BJP in the past 25 years? People give vote to Congress only when they get angry with BJP and later those Congress MLAs switch over and join BJP.” he added.
Sisodia further attacked the BJP over the issue of corruption saying that the AAP will provide a better alternative to the people of Gujarat.
.He claimed that Arvind Kejriwal took only five years to build a local health model. Today people can’t claim in a single city in Gujarat that they completely trust the government primary health care. In just five years, AAP has changed the face of Delhi. People in Gujarat have been inspired by our performance and joined us,” he said.
Over the last couple of months, AAP has renewed its organisational strength by opening offices at taluka and district levels and elevating popular faces to newer and bigger responsibility. It recently elevated its state vice-president Gopal Italia, a popular and equally controversial youth known for throwing shoes at a Gujarat minister, to the president. Italia is an ex-police constable and ex revenue clerk.
In its new “avatar”, AAP is trying to portray itself as a “serious” alternative to Congress. Kejriwal in a tweet on January 13 indicated that AAP is going to challenge BJP since “BJP and Congress have been playing friendly politics
Six municipal corporations, 55 municipalities, 31 district panchayats and 231 taluka panchayats in Gujarat are going to polls in the third week of February.
