The 29-year-old was forced to withdraw from her match at the Margaret Court Arena against teenage phenom Linda Noskova on Monday, January 22.
Svitolina was treated during a medical timeout, but she was able to continue because of her back ache. The famous Ukrainian claimed that he was so uneasy that it seemed like someone had “shot me in the back.”
