Placements at IIT Roorkee: 16 foreigners, 504 offers overall as of Day 3. On the first day of placements, students at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, received 358 domestic and three international offers.
On the second day of the placement season, there were over 440 offers, including PPO. On the third day, there were 504 offers, including PPO, and 16 international offers. By the end of the fourth day, the institute had reported 16 international offers out of 593 offers (including PPO).
Acuvon Consulting Private, American Express, Auronova Consulting, Axis Bank, Barclays, Clear, Demsyt, Edgeverve Systems, Groww, Headout, Hilti Technology Solutions India, ICICI Lombard, Infoedge, Inito, Meesho, Nation with Namo, Palo Alto Network, Samsung R&D Institute, Delhi Schlumberger, Sedemac, Skiify Solutions, Standard Chartered, SuperAGI, Tata AiG, Wells Fargo, and so on were some of the major companies that hired students from IIT Roorkee.
Up until day four, 105 companies took part in the IIT Roorkee placements.
The school asserts that by the end of the third placement day, 16 international offers had been made to the students. “We have received the highest International Salary compared to last year,” the institute declared in a statement.
The sources claim that a US-based company has made an offer of Rs 2.05 crore to an IIT-Roorkee student.
Last year, 32 companies arrived with multiple profiles until 2:00 pm on the second day of the IIT Roorkee placements. 500 offers had been made overall, which is comparable to the amount made this year.
The highest offer of Rs 1.30 crore was made overall in 2022. An offer of Rs 1.06 crore was the highest from outside. Ten students in all received offers totaling Rs 80 lakh.
