Irani Cup 2024-25:-The Irani Cup 2024–25 will take place at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow from October 1–5, with Ajinkya Rahane leading Mumbai and Ruturaj Gaikwad leading the Rest of India team.
Mumbai, the winners of the Ranji Trophy for 2023–24, will play the Rest of India (RoI) team in the Irani Cup for 2024–25 at Lucknow’s Ekana Cricket Stadium.
The one-time competition is scheduled for October 1–5. The game was originally scheduled to take place in Mumbai, the home ground of the reigning Ranji champion, but the BCCI was forced to move it to Lucknow due to persistent rain in the city.

Ruturaj Gaikwad (C), Abhimanyu Easwaran (VC), Kavitha Sudharsan, Saransh Jain, Prasidh Krishna, Mukesh Kumar, Yash Dayal*, Ricky Bhui, Shashwat Rawat, Khaleel Ahmed, and Rahul Chahar are the remaining members of the Indian squad.

The availability of Dhruv Jurel and Yash Dayal is contingent upon their absence from the second Test match against Bangladesh, which is scheduled to begin on September 27 in Kanpur. Similarly, Sarfaraz Khan’s availability for Mumbai will also be contingent upon his performance in the second Test.

Notes: *Yash Dayal and Dhruv Jurel have been named to the Rest of India squad; however, their inclusion is contingent upon their absence from the second Test match against Bangladesh in Kanpur. The second test is scheduled to start on September 27.
If Sarfaraz Khan does not play in the second Test match against Bangladesh in Kanpur, he will be released to represent the Mumbai team. Sarfaraz Khan has been kept in the Team India squad for the second Test.
