Mathura: Senior officials of Muslim Rashtriya Manch unit of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) visited Lord Krishna’s birthplace and offered their prayers at Krishna Janmasthali.Terming ‘Shahi Eidgah’ as result of Mughal rulers’ terror, the officials understood dispute of Janmsthan and Eidgah.
Thakur Raja Raees, national convenor of Muslim Manch said “More than 110 crore followers of Hinduism were hurt because of the mosque constructed adjacent to Krishna Janmsthan. Intellectuals of Muslim community should visit here and evaluate presence of mosque behind temple”. Raja Raees said Islam came to India about 1,400 years back while Krishna was born 5,000 years ago.
He said Shahi Eidgah near Janmsthal reminds of atrocities of Mughal intruders. Muslims should come forward to end the long pending dispute and present example of harmony in society with thir initiatives. Mohd Mazhar Khan who looks after Madrasas run by Rashtriya Muslim Manch appealed to clerics that they should visit Krishna Janmsthal and ask others to visit the holy place.
He suggested that with mutual understanding and harmony solution to the dispute was possible. Advocate Harishankar Jain, Ranjana Agnihotri and others had filed litigation to get possession of 13.37 acres of Lord Krishna from Shahi Eidgah on September 25. Sunni Waqf Board, Shahi Eidgah mosque Mathura and Sri Krishna Janmbhumi Seva Sansthan were litigants.
