Suryakumar Yadav praises Ravi Bishnoi’s “class character” in the IND vs. AUS match after he wins “Player of the Series.” The Indian captain, Suryakumar Yadav, praised the “class character” of spinner Ravi Bishnoi after India defeated Australia by a narrow margin of six runs in the fifth and final Twenty20 International Series match.

Suryakumar expressed in a video released by the BCCI that he is happy to have won the series in his role as captain. Suryakumar captained India for the first time in a bilateral series, helping the Men in Blue defeat the Australians 4-1.

“Clearly feeling ridiculous following the series victory. And it feels good, too, as a captain. It’s a fresh perspective on life. It feels good, and the players and support staff have helped me too,” Suryakumar remarked.

He continued praising Bishnoi, emphasizing that he demonstrated class character and that he has been performing well on a regular basis. Bishnoi’s nine wickets in five games earned him the title of “Player of the Series.”

After defeating Australia in a series, India is ready to head to South Africa to start the Twenty20 International series on Sunday, December 10.
