BPSC TRE 3.0 test rescheduled for July 19–22: On June 12, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) announced the rescheduling of the Head Teacher in Primary Schools (Written) Competitive Examination and the Head Master in Senior Secondary Schools (Written) Competitive Examination. Additionally, the BPSC provided tentative dates for the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 3.0). Due to other tests scheduled for certain days, the head teacher recruitment examinations for primary and senior secondary schools have been postponed. Notifications of the change have been posted on bpsc.bih.nic.in.
In light of the May 29 ruling by the Patna High Court, the commission announced that the application period for the position of Guest Teacher under the TRE 3.0 re-exam has been rescheduled for June 4–10. Under these circumstances, the examination has been tentatively set for July 19–22 at the district headquarters.
The panel stated that they are only estimates and could alter for unforeseen circumstances.
The written exam for the position of Head Teacher (Primary Schools), advertised under advertising number 25/2024, has been provisionally rescheduled for June 29. The exam was originally set for June 22, but because of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECEB) that day, the original date has been rescheduled. The commission stated that it would be challenging to hold two exams in the same district on the same day.
In a similar vein, June 28 has been proposed as the new date for the written test for Headmaster (Senior Secondary Schools) advertised in advertising 26/2024. The test was originally planned for June 23, which is also the day of the BCECEB exam.
Further details regarding these tests will be posted on the commission’s website in due course.
The TRE 3.0 test, scheduled for March 15, has to be canceled by the BPSC due to claims of question paper leaks. 3.75 lakh candidates attempted to pass the exam.
