Course Selection: You advise students on what courses to take, making sure that their choices support their academic and professional goals. Regarding prerequisites, course sequencing, and elective choices, you can offer advice.
Degree Planning: You assist students in developing a schedule that outlines the courses they must take each semester in order to remain on pace for graduation. This is striking a balance between credit hours, academic requirements, and any additional graduation requirements.
Academic Support: You provide tools and assistance to students in order to ensure their academic success. This could involve learning time management techniques, developing study abilities, and making connections to academic workshops or tutoring programmes.
Career counselling: You help students investigate career paths that align with their academic aptitudes and interests. Career evaluations, resume critiques, simulated interviews, and networking opportunities could all be part of this.
Personal Development: You assist pupils in their own personal development, helping them to overcome any difficulties they may run into. This could involve problems with time management, stress reduction, or work-life balance.
Referrals: To meet the requirements of each individual student, you may, if needed, direct them to counselling services, financial aid offices, or other campus resources or services.
