Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur will host the Delhi Capitals on Wednesday as they attempt to secure their first victory of the season against Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals. But, a major plus for Pant and his team is that their best pacer, Anrich Nortje, has arrived in India and can be selected for the Royals match.

The Delhi Capitals are not likely to start Prithvi Shaw in the starting lineup because Warner and Marsh will be the starting duo for DC.

Once again, Samson led the Royals to a commanding 20-run victory in their opening game of the season. With an 82-run innings, the wicketkeeper batsman took the team by storm and the bowlers combined to defeat the Lucknow Super Giants. The Delhi bowling lineup will be tested by the Royals top four, especially with Riyan Parag establishing an early rhythm.
Given that Trent Boult and Sandeep Sharma performed admirably in their respective roles against LSG, it appears that the Rajasthan Royals have also well-planned for the new ball and death bowling.
