The news follows the announcement of winter break in the NCR area a few days prior. The decree states that schools in Noida and Greater Noida will remain closed until January 14, 2024, up to Class 8.The Chief Minister of the neighbouring state of Haryana has previously declared a 15-day winter holiday, which will start on January 1, 2024, and end on January 15, 2024. The date of the winter break’s prolongation has not yet been announced, but on January 16, 2024, schools are supposed to reopen.
All government, non-government aided, and private schools in Rajasthan up to Class 8 have been instructed to close till January 13.
