Jio introduces prepaid Happy New Year 2024 plans with additional data, validity, and other features. Leading Indian telecom provider Jio has launched the “Happy New Year Offer 2024,” aimed mostly at its prepaid customers.
The redesign of one of their previous annual prepaid plans is the standout feature of this deal. In particular, the validity of the Rs. 2,999 plan has been extended by 24 days on top of its regular 365-day validity, for a total of 389 days under this deal.
The benefits of the Rs. 2,999 plan are the only ones affected by this improvement; the other benefits remain unchanged. Rather, it offers a more economical alternative by giving them a longer duration at a lower cost per day.
To be clear, Jio has provided more details about this deal on their website’s Terms and Conditions page. Customers who choose the long-term prepaid recharge plan for Rs. 2,999 will receive a voucher with a 24-day validity.
After the initial 365-day validity period expires, this coupon extends the plan’s lifespan by 24 days, providing a total of 389 days of service continuation. Jio’s prepaid plan page on their website or the MyJio app are the two ways to purchase this plan.
Customers will continue to enjoy the same perks as during the standard validity period for an extra 24 days. On the other hand, users’ daily expenses effectively drop from Rs. 8.21 to Rs. 7.70. Customers are entitled to 2.5GB of 4G data per day during this extended period.
This prepaid plan includes one hundred free SMS each day in addition to unlimited phone calls. Additionally, it provides a limitless amount of 5G data; nevertheless, the accessibility of 5G services varies by region, making it only available to customers within 5G network coverage zones.
Users of this package can also access JioCloud, JioCinema, and JioTV services. Interestingly, this plan does not include the premium JioCinema membership.
The premium JioCinema subscription costs Rs. 1,499, and users who are interested in it must buy it individually through the JioCinema portal.
However, as part of a single plan, JioTV Premium subscribers can access up to 14 distinct OTT apps.
