We are in the last days of Ramadan, the most blessed days of the most blessed month, the month of Quran, and it contains the night of Power (Lailatul-Qadr).
And, we are also going through the worst phase of Pandemic in many parts of the world. Not a day goes that we don’t get to hear loss of someone we know. We all are worried, stressed and sad. Our hearts are aching with pain, and it is natural to feel worried about our parents, children and family.
Allah SWT has mentioned in the Quran the purpose of the creation of death and life; It is to test and see who among HIS slaves are Best in Deeds. (Al Mulk -2).
As we are living the best moments of the year, let us fulfill the purpose of our creation and try to do BEST DEEDS.
Every soul will taste death with no exception, we all will have to pass through the valley of death at our appointed time and it could be very close or it might be a little later.
Our appointed time has been kept secret from us and we are commanded by Allah SWT to live our lives such that we don’t die except in the state of Islam (as Muslim, with complete submission to the Creator) (Al Imran – 102).
Quran also mentions the true success, those who are saved from the fire of Hell and are entered into HIS Gardens (Paradise) are the True Successful People and this life is enjoyment of deception. (Al Imran -185)
Let us strive hard and utilize the remaining days, doing Good Actions and try to achieve BIRR – Piety, Righteousness (Al Baqra – 177). Let us look around, share the bounties Allah SWT has bestowed us, with those who are in need, the orphans, the widows, travelers, those who are incarcerated, sick, those who are burdened with debt, old and poor. Fulfilling the covenants we make and being patient (Sabr) when we are tested. Staying clear of Miserliness,as it is among the worst attribute any human can have and it is one of major hurdle in the path of ultimate success.
May Allah SWT accept our IBADA, Du’a, Infaq and Dhikr and make us among HIS true servants (Ibad Ur Rahman) and forgive our sins and make us die on Iman and Islam and gather us among HIS MUQARABEEN – Aameen
