Applications for the collaborative PhD program at IIT Delhi and University of Queensland will open in January 2025. The PhD admissions application procedure has been launched in collaboration between the University of Queensland in Australia and the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IIT-D). The UQ-IIT Delhi Research Academy (UQIDAR) at IIT Delhi is the organization behind this effort.
The combined PhD program’s January 2025 admissions process is now open for applications. Candidates with a background in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, healthcare, humanities, or social sciences are encouraged to submit expressions of interest (EOI) to UQIDAR.

The Academy offers fellowships, relocation assistance, and grants for study abroad. The academic resources and facilities of both universities will be available to the students. To obtain additional details regarding PhD admission, students may visit uqiitd.org/apply/.
In addition to working and receiving time in both schools as part of the program, students who successfully complete it will be awarded a dual Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. The program will run for a maximum of four years.
