Season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League will start on October 18

The Pro Kabaddi League will revert to a three-city caravan structure in season 11.

The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) organizers declared on Wednesday that Season 11 will start on October 18 of this year. The world’s largest kabaddi league, the Pro Kabaddi League, will enter a new phase in October after concluding its ten seasons with success earlier this year.

The Pro Kabaddi League will revert to a three-city caravan structure in season 11. The 2024 edition will start on October 18 at Hyderabad’s Gachibowli Indoor Stadium and move to Noida Indoor Stadium for the second leg starting on November 10. Beginning on December 3, the third leg will be played at Pune’s Balewadi Badminton Stadium.

The Playoffs’ dates and location will be revealed later.

League Commissioner Anupam Goswami said of the PKL Season 11 dates, “We are thrilled to announce the start date and venues for PKL Season 11.” PKL Season 11 will represent a significant turning point in the league’s ongoing ascent, following the triumphant completion of 10 seasons. This would support the expansion of kabaddi in India and other countries.

Eight players sold for more than INR 1 crore at the Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 Auction, which took place in Mumbai on August 15–16, 2024, setting a new record for the league.

The PKL is now among the most prosperous sports leagues in India thanks to the efforts of Mashal Sports and Disney Star. The Pro Kabaddi League has changed the perception of India’s native sport of Kabaddi and its players both domestically and internationally. Several countries that play Kabaddi have also improved their domestic Kabaddi programs after observing the involvement of numerous players in the PKL.

Over the years, the Pro Kabaddi League has amassed a devoted and expanding fan base. It is anticipated that the forthcoming season would get substantial interest from ardent kabaddi supporters as well as new admirers. The league’s success has always rested on its ability to engage spectators with exciting games and gripping narratives.
