‘Hackers demanded $400’: Supriya Sule after her phone, WhatsApp account hacked
On Sunday, Supriya Sule disclosed that her phone and WhatsApp account had been compromised. She pleaded with everyone to stop texting or calling her.
Leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Supriya Sule, said on Monday that she was the victim of blackmail when hackers broke into her WhatsApp account and sent a message requesting $400 from her team.
WhatsApp was also compromised for Aditi Nalawade, the general secretary of the party. She was asked to pay ₹10,000 by hackers. We offered to pay them in an attempt to keep them interested. They have even exchanged bank account information for money transfers,” Sule continued.

The MP from Baramati declared on Sunday that both her phone and WhatsApp had been compromised. She pleaded with everyone to stop texting or calling her.

The leader of the NCP (SP) called it “very serious,” but she clarified that she had nothing to conceal on her phone. Sule later complained to the Yavat police station and spoke with Pankaj Deshmukh, the superintendent of police, who promised to look into the matter.
