Summary
As an Application Lead for SAP ABAP Development for HANA, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing and deploying SAP ABAP solutions, and acting as the primary point of contact for the project.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the effort to design, build, and configure SAP ABAP applications for HANA, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Develop and deploy SAP ABAP solutions, including custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the project, providing technical guidance and support to the team and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and standards for SAP ABAP development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Professional & Technical Skills
- Must Have Skills: Strong experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience in SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and OData services.
- Solid understanding of SAP HANA architecture and data modeling concepts.
- Experience in developing and deploying custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms using SAP ABAP.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAP ABAP applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Additional Information
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.

- Strong development background with expert understanding of ABAP OO, Design Patterns, ABAP Unit Test (AUT) developments, CRM, Technical topics like Billing Engine enhancements, BDocs, PPF actions, BRF, CIF process.
- Self-starter able to work independently under tight deadlines
- Specialization in one of these SAP modules – ECC, SPP, CRM or EWM
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Agile development experience is a plus
- Experience in SAP HANA and SAP Fiori based tools and Fiori development is a plus
- SAP S4 HANA implementation expertise is a plus
- Working knowledge in OData, Fiori Elements or Fiori free stile is a plus.
