In a tweet, Chairman of Delhi Minorities Commission Dr Zafarul-Islam Khan has thanked Kuwait for standing with the Indian Muslims. He said that the bigots calculated that huge economic stakes will prevent Arab and Muslim countries from taking a stand against the persecution of Muslims in India but they were wrong. He said that Indian Muslims enjoy great goodwill in the Arab and Muslim world for their scholarship and service to Islamic causes over centuries. Until now Indian Muslims have chosen not to complain to the Arab and Muslim world about the situation in India but the day they choose to do so the bigots will face an avalanche.
Dr Khan issued the tweet in Arabic also. He is well-known in the Arab World as a scholar and journalist.
