Role Title: SAP Materials Management – Techno – Functional Consultant
Reports To: Department Head
Function/Department: FINMA
Designation: DM/MGR
- PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP MM including both Procurement and Inventory Management as per Business Requirement.
- Collaborate with Core Business and SAP IT teams along with SI Partner for implementation of MM module as per Project Plan. Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, warehousing, and finance, to understand business requirements and align and integrate SAP MM with other SAP modules and external systems.
- Develop and implement SAP MM strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance procurement efficiency, inventory control, and vendor management.
- Map business requirements, processes, and objectives, Identify Gaps, issues; develops necessary product modifications and provide work around solutions adopting SAP standard functionality.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- BE/BTech/MBA/MCA Full-Time Education
- SAP Certification in MM
Work Experience
- 6-8 years of experience as SAP MM Senior Consultant.
- Minimum 2 SAP MM module implementation , preferably in Automotive sector.
- In-depth Knowledge of SAP MM Configuration, Master Data and Integration with other SAP Modules
- Participate in requirements gathering discussions with clients and clearly document the business requirements and perform fit-gap analysis.
- Document and perform functional testing to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the solution
- Provide training support to end users on SAP MM module.
- Proven ability to configure SAP solutions and experience with planning and participating in SAP blueprinting and design discussions

- Experience in writing documents like Functional specifications, Solution documents and test scripts in SAP MM projects.
- Strong skillsets in Proactively proposing solutions so that the business process support can be improved.

- Experience in building Interfaces with non S4 systems for Master Data
- Handling of IDOC’s and AIF Interfaces – Including Building New Interface(supporting the technical consultants on the functional side)
- Strong understanding of basics of SAP Materials Management Module
- Strong Understanding of FI touch points
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes and Inventory Movements
- Strong understanding of different procurement types (Domestic, Import, Consignment and STO’s)
- Experience in HP ALM (Good to have)
