The collaboration tool Zoom Workplace AI, which was first revealed in March, is now formally available. Zoom Workplace is filled with many generative AI technologies and, according to the firm, “helps businesses improve collaboration with new features and user experience across Meetings, Team Chat, Spaces, and more.” On the Zoom app, users can get the Zoom Workplace app for free from the business’s official website.
AI buddy is one of the solutions offered by Zoom Workplace, and it’s free for users on some subscription levels. It has additional features, such as a redesigned meeting tab experience that provides all the necessary resources in one location. Users who have linked their account to Zoom calendar or another calendar provider can also benefit from enhanced collaboration.
The Zoom AI companion has features such as a generative AI assistant that can automatically summarise meetings, sentence completion, and a quick schedule feature that helps users schedule meetings by identifying the purpose of the chat and automatically filling in the meeting details.
Additionally, Zoom plans to release ask AI buddy, an improved digital assistant, and generative AI-powered virtual backgrounds in the near future.
In addition to offering four distinct colour palettes, including ordinary dark or light mode, the new Zoom Workplace is now jam-packed with accessibility features including a customisable toolbar.
The Zoom Workplace app has been upgraded with a new multi-speaker view mode and document collaboration features. Additionally, it has image quality enhancement features like personalised audio isolation capabilities for a clearer audio stream by suppressing background noise, dynamic reactions with the option to use emojis to react, and portrait lighting, which uses AI to illuminate the face in low lighting.
