New Delhi: The Ministry of Education has launched the SWAYAM Plus platform, on which the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will offer nine courses. Artificial Intelligence, Applied Data Science, Backend Development (Java Spring Boot), Cyber Security Analyst, Android Application Development (with Kotlin), and Android Application Development (with Flutter) are among the courses offered by the institution.
Programmes in vital industries including energy, manufacturing, computer science and engineering, IT or ITES, management studies, and healthcare will be covered by the SWAYAM Plus platform run by IIT Madras.
The programme seeks to close the knowledge gap between academic study and the ever-changing needs of business. This project also includes SmartBridge.
Every course that the institute offers is in line with levels 5 and 5.5 of the National Credit Framework (NCRF). Students will be able to learn through projects and receive credit as a result of this.
An improved version of the Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) portal is called SWAYAM Plus. The new platform intends to make it easier for students, teachers, and business professionals to access a wide range of digital resources.
