For its summer fellowship program, the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT M) is accepting applications. Interested parties may apply for the fellowship program at sfp.iitm.ac.in, the official website of IIT Madras.
Interested parties may submit their applications for the IIT Madras summer fellowship program until March 31 at 5 p.m.
The two-month program for this summer fellowship offered by IIT Madras will start on May 22 and end on July 21, 2024. However, an official statement from the institute clarified that the schedule may be adjusted to accommodate students’ schedules.
Qualifications and allowance
All of the chosen candidates will receive a stipend of Rs 6000 per month for a maximum of two months.
Students enrolled in IIT are not eligible to apply for this summer fellowship.
Candidates with exceptional academic backgrounds and high rankings in university exams, such as those pursuing a third year of a BE/BTech/BSc (Engineering) program, a third or fourth year of an Integrated ME/MTech program, a first year of a ME/MTech/MSc/MA, or an MBA, are encouraged to apply. They should highlight their academic performance and achievements, including papers presented at seminars, projects completed, participation in design contests, score/rank in the Mathematics Olympiad, and any other awards or distinctions earned.
Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mechanics and Biomedical Engineering, Bio Technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Engineering Design, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Science and Technology, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, and Ocean Engineering are the engineering departments that will be taking part in this summer fellowship program.
