After Sachin Tendulkar compliments the veteran for a “love-all” moment with Steve Smith, Novak Djokovic responds.

A lighthearted encounter between Steve Smith and Novak Djokovic occurred on the court prior to the 2024 Australian Open, which is set to begin on Sunday, January 14. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar was left in wonder. After Sachin Tendulkar compliments the veteran for a "love-all" moment with Steve Smith

When Smith, 34, went to Melbourne Park, he played tennis with Djokovic, who also enjoyed himself with a cricket bat. Observing the friendship between Djokovic and Smith, Tendulkar expressed his happiness in a way that was all his own.

It’s lovely to watch two professional athletes enjoying themselves. On “X,” formerly known as Twitter, Sachin commented, “The score is ‘love-all.'”

Djokovic saw through Tendulkar’s message and responded with an emoticon of “folded hands” to show his appreciation.

With up to nine Australian Open championships under his belt, Djokovic is a clear favorite going into the hard-court competition. On Sunday, the 36-year-old will face Dino Prizmic of Croatia in the opening round.

Smith, meanwhile, just signed a contract with the Sydney Sixers to play in the Big Bash League (BBL) in 2023–24. At the legendary SCG, he opened the batting against Sydney Thunder and was dismissed by left-arm bowler Daniel Sams for a golden duck.

Following the Sydney Test against Shan Masood’s Pakistan, David Warner announced his retirement from the premier format. Steve is now prepared for his new position as the opener for the Australian Test team.

Smith, who has always batted in the middle order, will now have to prove his mettle in Test matches. The seasoned player will next take the field at the Adelaide Oval on Wednesday, January 17, for the first Test against the West Indies.
