While the Corona virus outbreak continues to wreak  the havoc in country, Bangaluru Muslims community is realising the weakness of health system and is sensing the urgency to fix it. This is not a normal news report, when  Corporate and Godi media is making money in every situation, we, www.siyasat.net and Gujarat siyasat newspaper (Ahmedabad) are putting this appeal just to please Allah SWT and as a part of efforts to save some lives who are in grip of this deadly virus. By the grace of Allah, we work hard for positive journalism, will never be stooge of anybody. We will stand for humanity and for the betterment of world.
Close on the heels of rising cases of Corona in state since the beginning of this month, Karnataka government on Saturday announced that its capital city Bengaluru will go under complete lockdown from 14 to 22 July.
“Complete lockdown in Bengaluru Urban and Rural districts from 8 pm on 14th July to 5 am on 22nd July in view rising Covid-19 cases,” stated Karnataka Chief Minister’s Office (CMO)
This is an important and urgent message for all members of Muslims community on account of the increasing number of covid cases in Bangalore.   members of of
Muslim community from different walks of life are working relentlessly fighting the pandemic and doing their best to contribute in some way or the other. There are intellectuals, businessmen, scholars, doctors, volunteers and paramedical staff who are part of these selfless efforts
According to sources, things are getting beyond control in the last couple of weeks and there is an acute shortage of resources and personnel to fight the onslaught unleashed by this dreadful pandemic. What we,Muslims are still unable to do is to form a Central Coordination Committee (CCC) that will channelise all the efforts and Emergency Response Teams (ERT) created for all major areas of Bangalore. Talks are already on to convert masaajid, Schools and marriage halls as makeshift hospitals to treat the covid -19 patients.
There are many stages of the disease and we need processes, volunteers and resources in order to cater to the different stages right from identification of symptoms till burial service for the unfortunate ones who are unable to stand against the virus. We are currently working on evolving a complete process to handle the situation through a CCC for the city and ERT for each area of Banglore.
For South Bangalore, where many areas are badly infected,  Jayanagar 4th Block Masjid* will act as the nodal center.
While we are optimistic of forming these teams at the earliest, we are in immediate need one thousand oxygen cylinders
To  cater to the huge demand for patients who get into the second stage of breathlessness and suffocation. Many are collapsing on the way to the hospital due to non availability of oxygen cylinders. If we are able to provide a cylinder to a patient he/she can recover in a week’s time instead of falling prey for this virus.
To summarize these are the four immediate and most critical need of the hour:
1.Funds for buying and stocking the cylinders and the masjid premises. The cost of each cylinder that can last before a refill is one week is rs.6000/
You can transfer the funds to this account which has been kept exclusively for this purpose.

Note: You can contribute for either one cylinder, *Rs.6000/- or at least half cylinder,
Rs.3000/-
There is no minimum or maximum limit. Whatever contribution you make that is very precious at the moment.
2. fleet of ambulances
for carrying patients first to our centers and based on need to the various hospitals of Bangalore. There are many individuals,  Organizations, Masjids etc. who have the Ambulances but are unused. We appeal to them to attach it to this noble cause at the earliest.
 3. A large number of volunteers and drivers having valid licenses to ferry the patients from their respective homes and to the hospitals. We will provide them with good food, a complete set of PPE, enough protection and special care.
4.Installing of Ventilators to patients that will go into critical care. But this requirement will be taken up once we have addressed the first three requirements.

COVID-19 surge in Bengaluru
Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa had admitted on July 9 that COVID-19 had become uncontrollable in a few districts, including Bengaluru.
To give you an idea of the surge of cases in the city, on May 30, when the nationwide lockdown was lifted, Bengaluru had 386 COVID-19 cases, out of which only 176 were active cases. The city had to bear the loss of only 12 patients. On June 30, the number of cases stood at 4,904, out of these 4,476 were active cases. And the death toll rose to 83.
If that was bad, the worst was yet to come. In the first 10 days of July, Bengaluru has seen a surge of 11,958 cases and 146 deaths
