Annually, the Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) awards scholarships to students who demonstrate merit. Certain scholarships come with direct benefit transfers to the students’ bank accounts, while others take the form of reductions in college fees.
List of available scholarships and requirements
1. Under the following two scholarship programs, the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NHFDC) offers scholarships to students with disabilities on behalf of the Department of Disability Affairs, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India:
a. Trust Fund Scholarships Scheme:
2000 scholarships will be given under this program to qualified disabled students attending accredited Indian universities for graduate-level professional and technical programs as well as degree programs.
Thirty percent of the scholarships will be awarded to female students; if no female candidates are found, the scholarships will be transferable to male students.
Candidates may submit an application for a scholarship under this program at any point during the academic year.
Scholarships will be given out on a quarterly basis based on the applications that were submitted the quarter before. The candidate must also submit an advance copy of their application online at nhfdc.nic.in in accordance with this scheme.
– Reimbursement of non-refundable costs up to the total cost of comparable courses at government-funded or government-affiliated schools. Students enrolled in professional graduate studies will get maintenance allowance for ten months at a rate of Rs 2,500 per month; for professional postgraduate degrees, the amount will be Rs 3,000 per month during an academic year.
Students taking professional graduate studies will receive a books and stationery stipend of Rs 6,000 year, while those doing professional postgraduate courses would receive Rs 10,000 annually.
Additionally, financial aid will be given to differently-abled students once in their lives to acquire appliances and other devices.
– The beneficiary’s, parent’s, or guardian’s monthly income cannot exceed Rs 25,000 (or Rs 3,00,000 annually) from all sources. Parental or guardian income is included in the family income.
A recipient of this scheme’s scholarship is not eligible to receive any further funding for their course of study.
b. National Fund Scholarships Scheme:
500 scholarships will be given under this program to qualified disabled students so they can pursue further academic, professional, or technical degrees.
Applicants must apply online at nhfdc.nic.in for scholarships, which are given out once throughout the academic year.
A monthly scholarship of Rs 1,000 is awarded to hostellers and Rs 700 to day scholars enrolled in professional courses at the graduation and above level; a monthly scholarship of Rs 700 is awarded to hostellers and Rs 400 is awarded to day scholars pursuing professional courses at the diploma or certificate level.

– Postgraduate students pursuing professional degrees, blind/deaf graduates, and students with cerebral palsy may be eligible for financial aid for computers equipped with editing software and support access software.
The beneficiary’s, parent’s, or guardian’s monthly income cannot exceed Rs. 15,000 (or Rs. 1,80,000 annually) from all sources. Parental or guardian income is included in the family income.
Recipients of this scheme’s scholarships are not permitted to hold any other scholarships or stipends concurrently.
2. National Fellowship and Scholarship Program for Scheduled Tribe Students Pursuing Higher Education
The program’s goal is to give qualifying Scheduled Tribe students financial aid so they can continue their education beyond a post-graduate degree.
MPhil course duration is two years, or until the date of dissertation submission, whichever comes first.

Eligibility:
Post-Graduation and ought to have applied to the universities included in the list.
– At the postgraduate level, candidates must receive at least a 55% final examination/grading.
