One of the largest telecom companies in India, Reliance Jio, has unveiled three new 5G data booster options. These plans, which have the same validity as your current active plans, are intended for consumers who are currently enrolled to prepaid plans that provide 1GB or 1.5GB of mobile data per day.
These plans, which are priced at Rs 51, Rs 101, and Rs 151 respectively, are listed under the Jio website’s True Unlimited Upgrade section. However, they are not compatible with the Rs 479 and Rs 1,899 prepaid plans.
The Rs 51 plan, which is the least expensive of the three, provides 3GB of 4G mobile internet; after that, the speed is restricted to 44kbps. If you reside somewhere where 5G coverage is, at most, sporadic, we suggest that you the Rs 101 and Rs 151 data booster plans, which provide unlimited 5G combined with 6GB and 9GB of 4G data, respectively.
It should be noted that although these plans provide unlimited 5G data, they deplete your 4G allotment in places where the network isn’t reachable. The Rs 61 plan, which included 6GB of data and had the same validity as your current plan, has been discontinued, for those who are curious.
For customers who have opted for plans that provide 2GB of mobile data per day, Jio already provides unlimited 5G. You may buy these 5G data booster plans via your local Jio store or reseller, the Jio website, or the My Jio app. As an alternative, UPI-based apps like Google Pay, Amazon Pay, PhonePe, and PayTM allow you to recharge them.
