NEW DELHI: Chief of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Jagadesh Kumar, announced that the fourth day of the CUET UG 2024 saw 83% more attendance than the first three days. Official data indicates that 603 centers nationwide were utilized for the CUET UG exam on May 18. The highest attendance for the history and sociology papers was 84%, while the attendance for political science was 78%.
The aforementioned is comparable to managing 539110 pupils in a single day because students write many tests. This makes up 5.78% of all the allotted time slots for students who have registered using pen and paper, according to a post made by Kumar on X (previously Twitter).
This means that 87.09% of all students who registered for CUET UG 2024 have been covered by the testing organization. The average attendance was 83% more than it had been the days before.
