Applying for an NITI Aayog internship, qualifying, and additional information

The premier public policy think tank of the Indian government, NITI Aayog, is accepting applications for its internship programme from undergraduate, graduate, and research scholars enrolled in accredited domestic and international universities. It is recommended that candidates apply via the official website by May 10th.

The candidates will get the chance to collaborate closely with the NITI Aayog’s verticals, cells, and divisions. Every month on the first and tenth, the link for the online application is open. There will be no compensation for the internship.

Qualifications:

– The candidate must be enrolled in any accredited school, whether domestically or outside.

– The undergraduate candidate must have passed the second-year or fourth-semester term-end exams and achieved a minimum grade of 85% in class 12.

Post-graduate students ought to have finished their first year or second semester exams and not received a graduation grade of less than 70%.

– The research student’s graduation grade should have been no less than 70%.

Candidates have a selection of multiple domains to pick from. These include: Agriculture; Data Management and Analysis; Economics; Education/Human Resources Development; Energy Sector; Foreign Trade or Commerce; Governance; Health and Nutrition; Women and Child Development; Industry; Infrastructure Connectivity; Mass Communications and Social Media; Mining Sector; Natural Resources; Environment & Forests; Programme Monitoring and Evaluation; Project Appraisal and Management; Public Financed Budget; Public-Private Partnership; Rural Development and SDGS; Science and Technology; Skill Development & Employment; Social Justice and Empowerment; Sports and Youth Development; and Tourism and Culture.

Time:

The internship will run for a minimum of six weeks but a maximum of six months.

Participation:

For the interns to receive the experience certificate, they must maintain a minimum attendance rate of 75%. Should the attendance rate fall below 75%, there will be no further extensions granted for the internship duration.

Certificate of Experience

The advisor will provide a certificate attesting to the internship’s successful conclusion (SHA11).
