“I am thrilled, honoured, and self-assured to be among the female top scorers,” declares Sanvi Jain, who received a perfect score in the newly released Joint Entrance Examination Main 2024 results.
This time, Shayna Sinha from Delhi and Sanvi Jain from Karnataka are the only two female members of the 56 students in the JEE topper list 2024. Sanvi participated in both JEE Main 2024 sessions. She retook the engineering admission exam in April after failing to get a pristine 100 percentile in the January session.
“My father is my inspiration and mentor.”
Jain, who was born in Bengaluru, wants to become an engineer like her father did. “I merely wanted to pass a few competitive tests when I started my training in Class 9. I began concentrating only on JEE Main preparation in Class 11. Although there have been some difficult times along the way, my family’s and my instructors’ support has helped me to persevere,” the woman stated.
When she is struggling academically, her father also supports her. He is the one that points out my errors and the things I should concentrate on. Since the beginning, he has been monitoring my records, she claimed.
The top student gives credit to Vineet from Unacadmey, her tutor, for his assistance, particularly in mathematics.
“Perfection comes from practice.”
Sanvi advises students to develop the habit of tackling the Daily Practice Problems (DPP), practice sessions, and problems from prior years. She continued, “During my preparation journey, I always finished the topics on the same day that I started and used to solve a lot of friends’ doubts which helped improve my skills.”
Numerous students reported inconsistencies in the test and asserted that JEE Main is becoming more difficult each year. But according to Sanvi, “the competition is increasing since more students are appearing for the exam, but the difficulty level is not increasing.”
She goes on to advise pupils to “always analyse your test series and learn from your mistakes and work on your weaknesses” in addition to being consistent in their preparation. Sanvi is now making sure she maintains preparing for the May 26 JEE Advanced exam, as per her own recommendations.
Sanvi hasn’t decided on an engineering specialisation yet, but she hopes to get into IIT Bombay or IISc Bangalore.
