11th convocation of IIM Kashipur: 438 students graduate, with a rise in female candidates

At the 11th convocation of IIM Kashipur, 438 students received degrees in a variety of programmes, and top achievers were given medals by Yazdi Nagporewalla, CEO of KPMG India. Inspiring graduates to take on difficulties and aim higher, Nagporewalla’s remarks underlined the value of education and the virtues it instills. The first class of the Executive MBA Analytics programme was noteworthy; sixteen of the eighty-three students who graduated with degrees showed a strong increase in the number of female students enrolled in all programmes.

The inaugural class of Executive MBA Analytics graduates. Up to 83 students from the inaugural EMBAA cohort will graduate; sixteen of them are female. One participant had more than 20 years of job experience, while the batch’s average was 9.16 years.

Offering a wide range of courses and online programmes, the institute has grown significantly in recent years, with a notable increase in the participation of women. Chairman Sandeep Singh emphasised the institution’s dedication to diversity and academic quality, and Director Professor ł Kulbhushan Balooni praised faculty research efforts and partnerships, highlighting IIM Kashipur’s commitment to social impact. Outstanding academic success was also acknowledged at the convocation with medals and designations from the Director’s Merit List.

As a result of this achievement, IIM Kashipur was able to maintain its standing as a top institution for management education and innovation by earning a 19th place ranking in the NIRF 2023 rankings.

Accept the trip ahead of you with fortitude and anticipation, since success is a result of perseverance, hard effort, and adaptation. Never back down from a struggle; opportunity always lurks in the chaos. Accept technology, make an investment in your abilities, and maintain honesty and respect at all times. “Congratulations to all of you, as you are the future’s diamonds,” stated KPMG India CEO Yazdi Nagporewalla.

At its eleventh convocation, the institute witnessed the awarding of degrees to 438 students. 232 graduating cohorts were awarded MBA degrees during the ceremony; 87 of them were awarded MBA Analytics degrees, 83 EMBAA degrees, and 21 Executive MBA degrees. Additionally, 15 scholars from the doctoral programme were awarded degrees.
