Hardik Pandya is one of the greatest “all-rounders” India has ever produced, according to Mumbai Indians batting coach Kieron Pollard, who also predicts that soon the supporters would “sing praises for him.”

“I’m not sure whether that will impact his self-assurance. After Mumbai lost by 20 runs to Chennai at the Wankhede Stadium, Pollard remarked, “He is a confident guy, he has been great around the group.”

In the final over bowled by Hardik Pandya, MS Dhoni hit three sixes and scored twenty runs off of only four balls. Mumbai’s fourth defeat in six tournament games came from those runs in the final few deliveries.

“In cricket, there are good days and bad days, and I am observing a person who is putting in a lot of effort to advance his abilities and pursue his career,” the man remarked.

Pollard also chastised supporters and commentators for attributing Mumbai Indians’ uneven tournament debut to Pandya.

Everyone will be rooting for this person, who will represent the nation in less than six weeks, and hoping for his success.

It’s about time we stopped nitpicking and tried to help one of the best all-around players India has ever produced reach his full potential. He possesses an X-factor and is a capable fielder, bowler, and batter.

“I sincerely hope, deep down, that I can just relax and listen to everyone applaud him when he wins.”

Pandya has scored 131 runs at a strike rate of 145.56 in his six innings as captain of the Mumbai Indians. He has also claimed three wickets at an economy rate of 12.00.

Regarding Hardik’s batting style, Pollard remarked, “As an individual you have to evolve.”

“You have the exuberance of youth while you are young. You act in a specific way when you go out and accomplish stuff. Accountability and duty begin to set in as one ages.

It appears to me that the man is changing. Individual preferences may vary, yet occasionally the game may not require specific elements, and mistakes will be made by players—we’ve all been there—as they progress. The person has worked hard, and perseverance is rewarded. Thus, when the time comes, we shall all be shouting his praises.
