Overtaking Rahul Dravid, Yashasvi Jaiswal ties Virat Kohli: Yashasvi Jaiswal of India has scored fifty or more points in each of the current Test matches against England. In the series, the youthful left-hander has also amassed two double hundreds. Jaiswal is threatening to smash the record for most runs in a bilateral series with one Test match left in Dharamshala.
Jaiswal tied the record of Virat Kohli, who also made a record 655 runs against England at home in 2016, during the fourth Test in Ranchi. Furthermore, Jaiswal has eclipsed the record set by current Indian coach Rahul Dravid, who amassed 602 runs against England and 619 runs against Australia away from home.
Kohli (692 runs) leads Jaiswal in the list. In 2014–15, Kohli played an important away Test series against Australia. Sunil Gavaskar, the former cricket player, is unmatched against the West Indies, having scored 774 (away series in 1971) and 732 (home se

In his career, Kohli has crossed the 600-plus mark three times, while Gavaskar has done so twice. Besides the aforementioned series, in 2017 Kohli scored 610 runs at home against Sri Lanka.
