Senior SAP PP/QM Consultant
Working with SAP software to optimize and streamline production and quality management processes for organizations is part of your job description as a Senior SAP PP/QM (Production Planning/Quality Management) Consultant. The following are some of the main duties and qualifications related to this position:
Business Process Analysis:
examining and comprehending the production planning and quality control business processes of the client.
determining where the current procedures can be optimized and improved.
SAP PP/QM Configuration:
setting up the SAP PP and QM modules in accordance with the unique business needs of the client.
modifying and improving SAP features to suit the particular requirements of the company.
Implementation and Upgrades:
overseeing SAP deployment initiatives or PP/QM module upgrades.
working together across functional teams over the duration of the project.
Training and Support:
giving end users training and making sure they know how to use the SAP PP/QM modules.
providing continuing assistance and troubleshooting for problems pertaining to SAP.
Integration:
integrating SAP PP/QM with external systems and other SAP modules (such MM, SD) to enable smooth information transfer throughout the company.
Quality Management:
creating and executing SAP QM quality management process designs.
making sure that laws and industry standards are followed.
Documentation:
generating and keeping up with documentation on user manuals, processes, and SAP setups.
Continuous Improvement:
keeping up on best practices and new developments in SAP technology.
