The woman’s brother and parents have been put under custody. Anjali, a BSc student, and her husband Sandeep, according to the police, resided in a residential community in Sector 102 and are from Surheti in Jhajjar. Anjali was reported missing from their flat, which they shared with her brother Kunal and his wife, by Sandeep, according to ACP (Crime) Varun Dahiya. Sandeep told the police on Thursday that he had wed Anjali, a native of his village, on December 19, 2022. He had been residing in the city with her ever since the wedding.
