World Cup ticket sales begin on August 25; tickets for the India-Pakistan match will be distributed starting on September 3.

ICC ODI World Cup: After registering their interest in a specific match, fans will then receive information on the day and time of ticket sales.

The International Cricket Council has also revealed the date for the ticket sales along with the updated ODI World Cup schedule. August 25 marks the start of the first phase, and September 5 marks the start of the final phase, which includes tickets for the knockout rounds. It is accepted that bookmyshow, an online ticket service company, will obtain the rights.

When do the tickets go on sale?

The sale of tickets will take place in stages to control the crazy demand. The sales for all teams, with the exception of India, will start on August 25. Tickets for India’s pregame matches in Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati may be purchased beginning on August 30. Tickets for India’s games against Australia in Chennai on October 8, Afghanistan in Delhi on October 11, and Bangladesh in Pune on October 19 will go on sale the following day. Tickets for the home teams’ matches against New Zealand on October 22, England on October 29, and Sri Lanka on November 2 at Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Mumbai went on sale to the public on September 1. The ones for the games in Bengaluru (against the Netherlands, November 12) and Kolkata (against South Africa, November 5) will start on September 2.

The most popular game, India vs. Pakistan in Ahmedabad on October 14, tickets will finally go on sale on September 3. On September 15, those for the semifinals and finals would begin.

The ICC will notify fans before the sales because tickets will be sold on numerous dates. Fans can sign up starting on August 15. They will be able to get updates on tickets thanks to it.

The identity of their ticketing partner hasn’t been made public by the BCCI or the ICC. However, it was made aware that bookmyshow.com may distribute tickets on behalf of the Indian board.

Fans who have purchased tickets will have the choice of receiving them by courier or picking them up in person from the designated venue. There is an additional fee of Rs 140 for those who want to pick up their tickets by courier, but only within India. Those who purchase tickets 72 hours prior to the planned game may use courier services. E-tickets will not be available.

League games do not have a reserve day. However, there is one for each of the three knockout matches.
