A prominent businessman and philanthropist Muzaffar Kola passed away in a private hospital in Mangaluru on Wednesday evening due to cardiac arrest. He was in the hospital for the last two weeks. He was 73 years old.
 
He was reportedly being treated at the hospital for age-related ailments.
 
He breathed his last on Wednesday night around 11 PM after being unable to respond to the treatments. His mortal remains will be brought to Bhatkal after completing all the necessary paperworks.
 
Muzaffar Kola was known for running an educational institute Naunihal Central School in Bhatkal. He always kept himself engaged in helping financially to Madrasas and Educational institutions around India. He is the man who opened Bhatkal’s famous Shopping complex ‘Aysha Plaza’. He was also a Managing Director at the famous Kolaco hospital in Bhatkal. 
 
One of the most successful businessmen of his times in and around Bhatkal, Muzaffar Kola had a widespread business including various shopping centers and properties in Bhatkal and other parts of the country.
 
His demise is regarded as the great loss to the Bhatkal community.
