SSC CGL 2024: Minimum age and educational requirements
The age restriction varies by post, with options of 18 to 30 years, 20 to 30 years, 18 to 32 years, or 18 to 27 years. Candidates in the reserved category will be granted a relaxation in the upper age restriction, with the cut-off date for establishing the age limit being August 1, 2024. SSC CGL 2024: Cost of application
SSC CGL2024 application fees are ₹100. The application cost is waived for female candidates and those who meet the eligibility requirements for reservation in Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen (ESM).
SSC CGL 2024: The procedure of selection
A two-tier computer-based exam (CBE) will be used to choose the candidates, and this will be followed by a round of document verification. The announcement includes information about the syllabus and computer-based exam plan.
The commission stated that following the announcement of the final results, the user departments will verify the documents.
For unreserved applicants, the minimum qualifying marks for the exam are 25%, for OBC and EWS students, it is 25%, and for all other categories, it is 20%. Minimum qualifying standards allowable errors are as follows: twenty percent for unreserved candidates, twenty-five percent for OBC and EWS candidates, and thirty percent for all other categories.
