Kolkata: One of India’s best karate players and international coach M.A. Ali has been appointed as the director of the ‘International Award’ and ‘World Meet 2022’ to be held in Thailand next year.
World Meet is organized every year by the World Mixed Martial Arts Council of Britain. Karate and martial arts players from all over the world participate in this competition. M.A. Ali has been entrusted with the full responsibility of organizing this competition.
Kolkata based M.A. Ali has been the highest belt holder player in Karate in India. He is also a former world champion of karate and trains karate in India as well as Thailand. He has trained several youth girls and boys in martial arts including Ayesha Noor, the golden girl from the slums of Kolkata, who has won several tournaments in India and abroad.
He has been declared ‘Hero of Gender Equality’ by USA. And also awarded America’s ‘Up words Achievers Award’ in 2019.
