One of the 23 students who received a perfect score of 100 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 session 1 results is Aaditya Kumar. The results were released on February 13. Kumar, who was born in Bengaluru, moved to Kota in June 2022 in order to get ready for JEE Main. He wasn’t alone, though, as his mother also made the decision to move to the city renowned for its coaching centre.

Kumar was raised by MBAs who chose to become engineers. I’ve always had a fascination with astronomy, astrophysics, etc. I made the decision to follow this interest in Class 8. I began my investigation into it.

Aaditya travelled to Kota for the Junior Science Olympiad in Class 9 and had the opportunity to see the Allen campus. “I enjoyed the discussions I had there with the seniors and teachers. I was drawn to the area and decided that moving to Kota to prepare for JEE would be the best course of action at that point.

Additionally, Aaditya was able to secure a scholarship with Allen thanks to the Olympiad.

Aaditya didn’t have a set study schedule, but he does think it’s important to get up early. He enjoys practicing math in the morning because it keeps him alert. “I used to switch to some theory subject around 11 am and kept alternating between theory and mathematics,” the man remarked.

He also emphasized how important it is for JEE applicants to have a minimum of one to one and a half hours for relaxation. “I like to decompress by taking long walks, spending time with my mother, playing badminton, and chatting with my school friends. Even on my worst days, I used to be able to relax with this,” he remarked.

Maintaining your composure and confidence is essential to scoring well on the JEE. “During the exam, a lot of students have a tendency to lose confidence and panic. One of the main challenges is that. It’s critical to never forget that you must always have confidence in your abilities and your readiness. The 100 percentile scorer warned, “If you panic, you might lose out on all the hard work you have put in over the past few years.

My spouse travels for work, so he occasionally visits us even though I work from home. Being my only child, I wanted to spend as much time as possible with Kota, so I moved to him. Later, his mother told IndianExpress.com, “We began hearing news about student suicides in Kota and felt bad about those students.”

Even though Aaditya had the luxury of remaining with his mother, he also thinks that whether you live with your parents or not, it’s still critical to ask for assistance from others. He said, “It is very important to reach out to someone for help, and it is okay not to be okay.”

Aaditya is currently preparing for JEE Advanced 2024 in order to gain admission to the Computer Science Engineering department at IIT Bombay.
