SAP PP Consultant:
Production Planning: Proficiency in devising and overseeing production plans, encompassing capacity planning, material needs planning (MRP), and production scheduling.
Master Data Management: Expertise in managing production-related master data, including routing, work centers, and bill of materials (BOM).
Shop Floor Execution: Understanding of production order management, confirmations, and products movements, among other shop floor procedures.
Integration: Knowledge of the integrations between SAP PP and other SAP modules, including MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales and Distribution).
SAP QM Consultant:
Quality Planning: The capacity to establish quality control processes, inspection schedules, and quality management plans is known as quality planning.
Processing of Inspection Lots: Proficiency in overseeing inspection lots, performing examinations, and documenting findings.
Quality alerts: Ability to effectively handle alerts pertaining to quality and oversee the process for resolving quality-related concerns.
Connectivity with Additional Modules: knowledge of the interfaces between SAP QM and the other SAP modules, such as PP, MM, and WM (Warehouse Management).
It’s critical to assess applicants for SAP PP + QM consultants based on their experience with end-to-end processes, configuration capabilities, problem-solving skills, and capacity to maximize the integration between these modules. Furthermore, a candidate’s competence in these modules may also be indicated by their SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Application Associate – Production Planning & Manufacturing with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7 and SAP Certified Application Associate – Quality Management with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7.
