“IICC-A Dream Still to Come True” book launched

A book written by Educationist, Author, Philanthropist and Entrepreneur Mr Kaleemul Hafeez named “IICC – A Dream still to Come True” was launched by Former Union Minister Salman Khurshid in English and Urdu. The Book highlights a road map of how the Institution can achieve the founding goals outlined by the founding members.An engineer and architect by profession, Mr Kaleemul Hafeez has many tags in his name. He is an Educationist, Author, Philanthropist and Entrepreneur. He is also the Founder & Chairman of AL-Hafeez Educational Academy and Hotel River View, a famous hotel in the bank of Yamuna River in the heartland of South Delhi. He is also in founding member of many renowned educational institutions.  He is also contesting for Member-Executive Committee of India Islamic Cultural Centre Elections 2019.

After massive success and praise of his last book “Taleem Se Hi Tasveer Badlegi,” his second book “IICC – a Dream Still to Come True” in English and “IICC – Ek Khaw’b Jis Ki Tab’eer Abhi Baa’ki Hai” was launched by Mr Salman Khurshid, Former Union Minister of External Affairs, Government of India and an eminent lawyer in English and Urdu on Monday, December 17 at Hotel River View, New Delhi. The launch was presided by Former Union Minister Mr Arif Mohd Khan in presence of many dignitaries. A Large number of members of the India Islamic Cultural Center based in Delhi NCR joined the Launch.

The booklet represents experience, feelings and a road-map of on how to realise Institution’s founding goals and the achievement of the vision of its founders. Change of individual office-bearers has no significance. “To me the change of individual office-bearers has no significance. What is important is that those serving it (or those whom God gives the opportunity to serve it) should highlight its real character and plan a line of action in the light of the goals embodied in its bylaws,” said Author Mr Kaleemul Hafeez.  The book came at a crucial time ahead of II CC 2019 Elections.

 A prestigious institution like the India Islamic Cultural Center is in dire need of positive changes and reforms. At a time when it is going for elections for a new leadership, the book has made a review of the Centro’s performance in the light of a short history of the Center and its annual report, some suggestions have also been proposed and a plan of action. Some observations on the situation of the Muslim minority in the country have been included.
