Then the media fellowship offered by The Blue Club is for you. For the very first time in the history of our country The Blue Club is launching a fellowship exclusively for Dalit Women+ Dalit Queer writers. The Blue Club Media Fellowship for Writers 2020-21 is a three month intensive writing fellowship for Dalit Women+Dalit Queer people. Selected fellows will receive a stipend of Rs.30000.
Selection will be on rolling basis.
The Blue Club is a grassroots media organisation was founded in 2015, in Chennai.  The organisation strives to bring the marginalised voices to the forefront and to pass the mic and amplify the voices of the suppressed who have been deliberately silenced and muffled for generations –  specifically the marginalized women from  regions of high poverty rates.
 The Blue Club is led by an all-women team and has led many initiatives like organising media workshops to encourage community journalism, video documenting struggles of community leaders
The Blue Club team comprises documentary makers, activists, feminists, writers and artists who are keen to build a cadre of eminent writers from the Dalit community.
