Common Admission Test (CAT)

There are various different ways for students to apply to get into management schools while the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow is presently accepting applications for the CAT 2023.

Exam details for several of these management entrances can be found here.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 registration is now taking place at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. From tomorrow until 5 p.m. on September 13 at the official website, iimcat.ac.in, interested and qualified candidates may apply.

The exam will be administered on November 26 in three sessions in accordance with the official calendar. The admit cards for this will be available for download starting on October 25.

The computer-based admissions test (CAT) is used for graduate management programmes. IIMs hold the exam as a requirement for admission to their various management programmes.

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)

The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2024 registration period has begun, and students have until November 30 to submit their applications at the official website, xatonline.in. The admission exam is set to be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024, according to the official timetable.

The XAT 2024 admission card will be accessible for download starting on December 20 in accordance with the plan.

Candidates must hold a three-year bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline from an accredited university or other organisation in order to be eligible to take the XAT. Also eligible to apply are students who will finish their final exams by June 10, 2024.

Registration for XAT costs Rs 2,100. However, it would cost Rs 200 for each programme if you’re applying to XLRI courses.

The XAT question bank is divided into two parts, and there will be between 100 and 105 questions total. There will normally be 22 to 30 questions in each part. The overall number of questions, including those pertaining to general knowledge, will not exceed 100.

No management or NRI quotas exist, therefore admission to XLRI programmes is solely based on merit. More than 160 institutions currently use the XAT score for admission.

Registration for the NMAT 2023 is currently being handled by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). Before October 10, candidates can submit their applications at the official website, mba.com/exams/nmat.

For admission to graduate business schools in a number of nations, including India, South Africa, the Philippines, Nigeria, and Morocco, candidates must pass the NMAT by GMAC exam. This exam was created using a computer.

The number of colleges that recognise the NMAT by GMAC exam has grown this year, according to the officials.

GMAT

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a standardised exam that aids applicants in getting into several business schools, including the London Business School in London, the INSEAD in France, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business in the United States.

The GMAT exam can be taken on any day of the year, unlike the CAT exam, which has a set date and time for administration. The only requirements for candidates are to register and choose an exam slot from those offered on the website. For students from India, the registration price is roughly Rs 21,000.

The GMAC typically needs seven days to make each student’s score report public. However, this can go over for a maximum of 20 days.

MAT

A standardised test called the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is administered as a preliminary examination for admission to MBA and related programmes. The All India Management Association (AIMA) is in charge of administering the test.

According to the schedule posted on the official website, mat.aima.in, registration for the paper-based test is open until August 29 for the exam scheduled for September 3. On August 31, the admission cards for this exam will be made accessible. The deadline for computer-based tests is September 12, and on September 14 admission cards will be made available for the exam that will be held on September 17. By the end of September, the results for both test modes will be made public.
